Michael and Melissa’s engagement session in La Jolla last year had one of the most spectacular sunsets we’ve ever captured. 5byseven was excited to work with this loving couple again. They had a beautiful church ceremony at Our Lady of the Rosary in San Diego’s Little Italy and continued their celebration at Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center.

We’ve passed by this location for years but never had the chance to shoot here. Now we finally have. Taken at the steps of the convention center, then walking up to a great view of the San Diego water front, we captured some great shots of Cedric and Alyson who will be married later this year at the Japanese Friendship Garden.

We ended our week with an engagement session at the World Famous San Diego Zoo. Sherryl and Scott were great as we took the skyride to the top of the zoo and made our way down taking photos on the way. Sherryl and Scott are a great couple and their personalities and love for each other are easily seen in their photos. We finished with the zoo and walked over to Balboa Park to take a few more photos as the sun set into the horizon.

We couldn’t pick a more gorgeous day to take photos at Balboa Park this past weekend. Tiffany and Mark were great and were naturals while we took their photos. We’re so happy with how the photos turned out. And the drinks and snacks at the Prado after were an added plus : )

We were there for their maternity photos, now for their engagement session and later this year for their wedding. 5byseven loves making long-lasting bonds with our families. We took Myleen and Carlo’s photos next to the San Diego Convention Center, then headed to the new pedestrian bridge connecting Petco to the Bay, then ended it with some classic diner photos. Enjoy!
