Engagement: Mike and Melanie
It was a return to our alma mater, UC San Diego, with Mike and Melanie. It was a nostalgic afternoon for all of us as we took their engagement photos around campus. We made sure we included the iconic locations including the library walk, Geisel Libray, UCSD price center, eucalyptus trees, sun god and the Revelle stonehenge! Plus I photographed my first plank…and during an engagement session!
Wedding: Michael and Melissa
Michael and Melissa’s engagement session in La Jolla last year had one of the most spectacular sunsets we’ve ever captured. 5byseven was excited to work with this loving couple again. They had a beautiful church ceremony at Our Lady of the Rosary in San Diego’s Little Italy and continued their celebration at Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center.

We’ve passed by this location for years but never had the chance to shoot here. Now we finally have. Taken at the steps of the convention center, then walking up to a great view of the San Diego water front, we captured some great shots of Cedric and Alyson who will be married later this year at the Japanese Friendship Garden.
