5byseven is a San Diego based photography company specializing in weddings, engagement, event, studio and fashion shoots. 5byseven represents the number of letters in our names, Brian (5) and Michael (7), and also a play on the picture size. We were good as a duo but became even better with the addition of Jenn to the team. Whether it’s your special day, a family portrait session or simply need photos, we’re here to capture it uniquely. We like to tailor each specific shoot to your liking, so the more you tell us, the more we’ll do our best to capture it just the way you had envisioned.

The Commander – Brian Catacutan: Even though we’re a three person photography crew, Brian is the one that calls the shots.
The Coordinator – Jenn Vela: She can sew a button back on your dress, rally an army to take a photo, while actually taking the photo – all at once.
The Designer – Mikee Catacutan: Mikee’s got the eye for design and uses it in his photography. Plus, he’s a photoshop wizard.
