Engagement: Ana and Erick
This blog is dedicated to the happy couple, Ana and Erick. “Two people that were meant to be together.” Ana and Erick have been together for 10 years and will exchange vows today (November 12, 2011) and it has been a blessing to get to know them.
They both had lived in Japan, on the same base and same time but never really knew about each other. According to Erick, it started as an IM on MSN from someone he barely even knew. IM’s turned into emails, and then into phone calls.
Six months later, the moment of truth, meeting for the first time.
“My heart was beating like crazy as I waited in the parking lot…. then after all this time, there she was!! She was everything I hope for and more.” This rest is history.
We photographed them in downtown near the Children’s museum and then at a little hidden gem, Colina Park Golf Course. On behalf of 5byseven we are honored to be a part of your special day! May you be blessed with agape love.
Engagement: Lani and Thien
Lani and Thien asked us to take their engagement photos shortly after their Paris engagement. I would have to say this session was all about stolen moments. We began by exploring the halls and corridors of Hotel Del Coronado and ended up at Ferry’s Landing with a little Q&A about how they met and how Thien proposed. Congratulations you two lovebirds! Can’t wait for your wedding next year!
Portraits: MTK
This dynamic trio (Mikee, Tam and Kat) have been friends it seems like forever! You may remember this fashionable bunch from their photo session Mikee and Friends from earlier in the year, well they’re back and this time Tam is in town! I love taking photos of friends because it reminds me of the relationship with my own. No matter how time or distance may separate us, we are all still very close. To MTK, I saw this and immediately thought about you guys…
“So here’s to the crap we talk, the guys we stalk, the way we shop, laughs we can’t stop, the gossip we spill, the looks that could kill, we stay together because we’re Best Friends Forever”
