The Veterano jacket by PNOY Apparel is honoring the 250,000 Filipino American veterans who fought side by side their American counterparts without compensation or recognition. They were promised citizenship and full benefits, but In 1946, the Rescission Act took that promise away.

ONLY after almost 70 years, the Stimulus Plan hands out $15,000 to those who became U.S. Citizens and $9,000 to non-citizens veterans for their duty. A very small reward for a life’s worth.

PNOY Apparel wants to help! With every Veterano sold online, we will donate 10% to JFAV (Justice for Filipino American Veterans) to help our dying heroes. We know it may not be their full worth, but everything counts!!

The Veterano is extremely limited with only ONLY 300 Veteranos made!!

Over the weekend we had the opportunity to work with some of the student stylists from SACO Hair here in downtown San Diego. Paul, we know him as “that makeup guy”, contacted 5byseven on behalf of SACO Hair to start portfolios for some of the stylists and their models. The first model is Keegan- hair and makeup by Maddie. The second model is Tiffany- hair and makeup by Samantha. The third model is Haidee- hair and makeup by Paul. The last model is Alley- hair and makeup by Kyle. We had another collaboration with our good friends at, Pnoy Apparel, for some of their new products. The products included new cut and sew basketball jerseys and the revolt jacket in new colors. We were fortunate to have worked with our favorite model, Pops, and he didn’t disappoint even posing with a fixie!
