Family Portraits: Merlinda, Caleb and Jordan
We’ve been using the new PW mini’s and flex since the beginning of the year and I’m still amazed at their reliability and convenience. My cousin Merlinda gave me a call and wanted a few pics with her boys. She’s decided to create a Facebook page and wanted some photos with here newborn, haha. I didn’t have much time since I was on my lunch break but this was a simple one light set up. All photos are either strobe fired through shoot through umbrella, camera left or right. Triggered and fired with the PW mini and flex. Can’t remember the exact settings, but it was either Aperture Priority or Manual. If I had the time, I would have liked to add a second light as fill or maybe as a kicker but I think the results are pretty good.
Enjoy and Merlinda, I better be one of the first people you add as a friend : )
Not the traditional emotion you usually see in a family portrait but I think it’s perfect! Love this one.

Jordan wasn’t really interested in photos and wanted to ride his bike instead.

Great photos! Haven’t seen Merlinda in years. Congrats to her! Sidenote…we should talk weddings one day. Take care.
