Engagement Session: Sarah and Sean

Sean and Sarah were so great to work with. We had a good time with lots of fun and plenty of laughs. It felt so good to be outside enjoying the beach for their engagement session. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect day. The sun was out and we had a great time walking around Ocean Beach. These two will be married in August, marking 5 years since they started dating. They met at work in San Francisco and eventually moved down here to so cal. We hope you enjoy the photos and we look forward to photographing your wedding later this year!

Portraits: Jennie & John

It was a beautiful day in San Diego, 5byseven photography had a chance to photograph this lovely young couple- Jennie and John. They had just bought some picture frames and needed them filled so we jumped at the opportunity. Since their mom’s are best friends, they had become good family friends. It’s plain to see how their friendship had bloomed into love and adoration. I asked them when was it that they had fallen in love, Jennie responded…

“I never really thought of having a serious relationship until after college, and John wasn’t the type of person to be committed. It wasn’t until his older brother Ray’s wedding where things between us began to change. We started to hang out more often than usual, and the attraction between us became so strong, we became inseparable. It was obvious that there were more feelings involved other than just butterflies and blushes. After realizing how different and happy I am when John is around, I finally admitted to myself that I had fallen for him, and so did he.”

Funny enough, they were complimented by passerby’s “Congratulations!” For clarification this was not an engagement session. Just a celebration of being a couple. Maybe “Congratulations” is appropriate because they found love in one another.
